Pillowcase project

Vistamar School students, in El Segundo, California, will be gathering in April, 2011, to begin sewing and decorating pillow cases for the children who are being assisted by the "We Are All Family, Inc." program. Students will receive community service hours as they assemble the pillows. Children can transport their very own pillows and pillow cases with them as they move through the foster care system. These pillows provide better rest for the children and are functional as the children can carry other items in the pillow cases too!
